  1. So Daniel, I dont get invited to your party? Put me on the list for future events. Cant make the Macedonian event on Tuesday. I have a Croatian Parliament leader in Washington for some rounds. However, may be able to make future events, especially re the Balkans.

    1. Apologies. Everyone is invited to the two speakers this week, but I’ll make sure Center for Transatlantic Relations puts you on our Balkans mailing list. Anyone else interested in being on that list is welcome to let me know!

      1. Daniel, please add me to the list as well. Thank you!

Joe, I would love to catch up some time! What is the best way to reach you?

        Best,
        Gorgi

  2. The former Yugoslavians sudden identity transformation into “ancient Macedonians” and abuse of the name “macedonia” to encourage irredentism proves Greeks were right to object to recognition of the name all along.

Unfortunately the patronizing Greek hating bigots that decided to reference SLAVS living in ancient Paeonia as “ethnic” Macedonians appear to be trying to hide their mistake of supporting them by manipulating human rights lingo.

The betrayal of our allleged NATO allies on this name issue should be a red flag to all Greeks that NATO (especially American nationalists like Daniel) are not only undependable they are now effectively now engaged in a subtle form of ethnic cleansing (vis-a-vis trying to delete very identity of Greeks since of course the two ethnic narratives contradict one another ).

New allies are needed for the Greek people. Actually allies that take firm steps to defend Greece from external threats rather than the current pretentious bigots trying to erase the Greek people off the face of the earth.
